Split Rail Fence Installation in Hoover, AL

Split rail fencing brings rustic beauty and practical boundary definition to larger properties in the Hoover and Birmingham area. This classic fence style features horizontal rails set into notched posts, creating an open, country-style boundary that is both affordable and attractive. At 76 Fence Iron City, we install split rail fences using pressure-treated pine and cedar.

Split rail fences are ideal for large lot boundaries, horse properties, rural estates, and decorative landscape features. With 2-rail and 3-rail options available, this style defines your property without blocking views or restricting airflow.

Split rail fencing is a popular choice for larger properties in the outlying areas of Hoover, Helena, Chelsea, and the southern Birmingham suburbs where homes sit on half-acre lots or more. This style provides clear property boundaries at an affordable price while maintaining the open, spacious feel of your land.

We offer split rail fences with optional welded wire mesh attached to the inside, which creates an effective barrier for pets and small children while preserving the rustic appearance. This combination is particularly popular for homeowners who want the country look of split rail with practical containment capability.

Our split rail installations use pressure-treated posts set in concrete for long-lasting stability. The natural weathering of the wood over time only enhances the rustic character of this timeless fence style.
